I'm assuming the DVD is a video and is not protected-
You can create a disk image by using Copy Disc from either StartSmart, Express or Burning Rom. You would select the Image Recorder. What do you want to do with the video on the DVD? |

Hi sleung,
Which kind of DVD are you trying to copy to your hard drive? Please note that if you use the ImageRecorder to do this, you will create an exact image of the disc, and to open it you will need to burn it to a new DVD. To copy the files from a Video DVD (non-copy protected) or Data DVD to your hard drive, you can simply use the "copy and paste" method. Simply insert the disc in the drive, open it and copy/paste the files to your hard drive. Did you try it like this? Best regards, Infohelp |

I asked what Sleung wanted to do with the DVD since, for instance, if Sleung wanted to edit it and create a new file or burn, the disc could be imported into Vision or converted to another format by importing it into Recode. (lousy English on my part).
