Hallo :) !
I'm being bit confused of which is the right way to update the Nero suite? On 1 hand you have the option of stepping into "Nero Control Center" and from within there use the "Update"-button to the left.... Un the 2:er hand you're adviced on official Nero hpmesite to perform updates from there.... I know 4 suuuure that I've earlier performed updates from "Nero Control Center"... B) So why  are we all being told to update software from Nero-site, when there's a tool for that(Nero Control Center)we've been using several times with good results???? ThankYou friends.... |

Hey,
The new Nero Control Center don't really check for updates anymore, it just takes you to their website so you can do it yourself. Or those are not really updates, but small patches of that version to fix installation issues. I hope it can do really updates, such as symantec's liveupdate, can connect to a symantec server over the Internet to check for full program and other updates. |

Hello colston,
temporary this do not work, you have to update manually, so how KnickerbockerGlory describe it. We hope that Nero can start an automatic update in the feature like Symantec. regards Mrbelphy |

Anyone know why NCC would indicate the the help files and templates as "Not Installed" even though I installed them?

Anyone know why NCC would indicate the the help files and templates as "Not Installed" even though I installed them? Is it because there is a BUG in the routine. IT does not rouble to check the contents of the TEMPLATE folder. It just assumes that they have not there. If you trouble to view NCC, depending which version is being used, you will also note that there are other routines 'NOT INSTALLED' which are actually part of the NERO SUITE. The latest version of NCC, that supplied with 9.4.26, also lists the absence of the 'HELP FILES'. Also there is no information on the website that this routine has been updated. The following attachment are 2 of the 4 screen dumps taken of the latest NCC. At present I am in the middle of supplying a list what I consider to be problems/BUGS with the with current release of NERO. But as a comment made to me,'You are the only one who has observed these problems', all the other 270 odd million users are satisfied with product. If anyone has any problems or suspect that there is a problem I would suggest not to use the ONLINE Technical Support form but address you comment direct to Nero Support. The most convenient way of obtaining this address is to send an ONLINE form which should be acknowledge by an Automatic Response and then proceed from there |

Interesting about the help files. I also have the .chm files installed in each corresponding folder. If I try to install it manually from the NCC by checkmarking an app and then by pointing it to where the .chm already is, the .chm file is not one of the listed files even though it is clearly there. I trust you have identified this problem to Nero.
