If anyone considers using this routine I would suggest they view the images at http://forum.my.nero.com/index.php?showtopic=6474&st=20.
When I used the routine I was unsure which format, ISO or UDF, to use so I selected both. It would seem that I made the right choice as one format did not QUITE recover the files completely, if you trouble to view the above you may see the difference, at least for Nero 10. I also tried Nero 9 to recover the same file with a similar result. Sometime last year I found that I was unable to view a .jpg file, from a disc, accessing the file produced a CRC error. This error was repetitive on several different PC's and thus I resorted to NRA 9 using in both formats. The program reported that it had recovered the image, apparently complete, that is the size, date and Tome, was the same but when viewed it was distorted. When contacting Nero about it I was informed that once the corrupt potion of the file had been detected and corrected, the program saved the image as is with the original information concerning the file. So I would say 'User Beware' This post has been edited by ploughman: Jun 24 2010, 12:48 AM |
