Hello:
Have just recently installed Nero8Ultra. Had some troubles but have gotten ALMOST everything to function: Write, Add, Copy (Drive-to-self and Drive-to-other drive), Analyze, etc. InCD is installed; there is a tiny icon for it in the system tray. Opening it gives a window showing " No drive detected. No action is possible". Q. How can I get InCD to detect my optical driveS? The InCD window is a little bit taller than my screen and seems to NOT be resize-able and NOT be scrollable; some portion at the bottom is NOT visible. Q. How can I get the WHOLE window to show on my screen? Thanks,, |

Hi Bits36,
this sounds like a compatibility problem. In this case I would suggest to contact Nero techsupport. Here a link for the support form: http://www.nero.com/eng/support-form.html |

Bits36, Obviously The folks at Nero have no desire to support their product by reviewing these forums. I am having the same problem but only with Vista. When I boot back into XP everything works fine. I think it is as Vista issue not a Nero Issue. I am having problems with my Sony DRU-710a as well as my Samsung SM-325B. I can't get full funtionallity out of either drive when using Vista but they work fine in XP. I am only playing around with a Vista drive and using the XP as my primary. From what I have seen of Vista... if they could take the front end of Vista and add the reliability of XP they would have an awesome operating system. Until then there are too many bugs, hardware clashes, and it is a resource hog. I haven't had this many problems getting an OS to work since Windows 3.1. Good luck and if you find an Answer to this problem, please post it on here. The folks here at Nero obviously have gone the way of Microsoft and don't give a crap abot their customers.
