I've downloaded a utility program which is in iso format.

No, it doesn't. I get the following message: Documents\Downloads\SaveMeRecoveryPlusInstall-3.0.1033.7079.iso' is invalid - you need MPEG-1 which was encoded for Video-CD: audio: 44.1 kHz; stereo; 224 kbit/s video: 352 x 240 / 29.97 Hz or 352 x 240 / 23.976 Hz or 352 x 288 / 25 Hz The following problems were found: - stream encoding which is invalid for a [Super] Video CD - no video - no audio Apologies, it doesn't mean much to me. |

I was assuming this was a video. Perhaps it should be a data CD. Give that a try.
What version of Nero are you using? |

You should be able to burn a iso image using Nero Burning ROM, select the Recorder on the menu bar and select the "Burn Image" item. You could also use something like the free utility "Virtual Clone Drive" which will give you a virtual drive that you can directly mount the iso image on. Once you've mounted the iso on the virtual drive you should be able to access it just like it was a CD/DVD on a physical drive.

Hi Axotyl,
You can burn the ISO image file with Nero Burning ROM and Nero Express. Just make double click on the ISO file and Nero should open it. If this doesn´t work, please follow these steps: Nero Burning ROM: Open Nero Burning ROM and click "File" -> "Open" in the menu bar and then go to the image location to select it. Nero Express: Open Nero Express and click the " Image, Project, Copy" option. Now select the "Disc Image or Saved Project" entry on the right side to go to the image location to select it. A CD image can be burned to a DVD and a DVD image can be burned to a CD as long as (A) the target media has enough available space and (B) as long as the disk format is considered (e.g. an Audio CD image cannot be burned to a DVD).
