I got a dvd burner from dell early this year and they sent nero 8
As i lost the install dvd i had to buy the current one I click the us download to update nero 9 it loads 8 I go to the nine download and type in my email mgillenj@earthlink.net and hit enter No email came yesterday or today If i hit download it downloads the trial As i bought it i dont need a trial So what do i do to update it |

Hi schpike84,
You can only install Nero 9 if you purchased a Nero 9 version. You cannot update from Nero 8 to Nero 9. "Updates" are within a same version, so if you want to use a newer version, you need to "upgrade" to Nero 9. As you reported, you already purchased Nero 9. When you download the latest Nero 9 update from our web page, it will be a trial version. You will not receive an e-mail when downloading the Nero 9 update or trial version. You will have to launch the trial installation, and use your Nero 9 serial number, the one that you purchased to install Nero 9. Regards, Infohelp |

Good that i asked
I was gonna do that today Why dell sold a dvd burner and didnt sent the current nero I have used nero since it was 5.0 I have a pc that should have came with a dvd burner because they are common and it was bought in 07 Thanks for the help |
