 Where do I find my serial number |

My software came with an HP dvd 1270i Disk writer and I installed the software, when it ask to register, I get a message to check my internet connection and firewall settings, this is all correct. I went to the web site to register and it is asking for the serial number and I cannot find it on the disk or the instructions. The only S/N I can find is the one for the writer. Can anyone help?

Hi jnorman,
are you getting a message to activate your third party patents or are you trying to register your Nero version in MyNero? I am sorry, but it is not clear what you want to do. Can you please upload the message that you receive as a screenshot? Also, I can help you find your serial number, but need to know which Nero version you have. Do you have Nero 7, Nero 8 or Nero 9 for example? Regards, Infohelp |

I'm building a new computer. I have the email where I purchased Nero 9. I have the serial number from that email. I have upgraded 9 when Nero issued upgrades. I want to confirm that the S/N I have on the email is the same one the product is using. Where will I fins that in the files?

Go to the Nero Control Center\License. You're serial number will be there.

Sure did. I NEVER noticed that option on the drop down. I guess I'm used to just opening from Start Smart. THANK YOU!!
