Hi,
I'm looking for a new cable TV (analog) tuner for my system. Currently I have only the USB tuner that came with LiquidTV and I don't like it. It seems to get hung once in a while. An then I need to power down the system to clear the device of what ever stops working. I'm running Win7 x64 RTM. I was thinking about the Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250 Dual TV Tuner / Encoder. Has anyone used this card with LiquidTV does it work well and reliably? How about ASUS My Cinema EHD3-100 Dual Hybrid TV Card EHD3-100/NAQ/FM/AV/MCE? Cheers, Will This post has been edited by wdeutsch: Nov 3 2009, 01:28 AM |

I think that if you go to LiquidTV at nero.com, you can find a list of compatible tuners.

I think that if you go to LiquidTV at nero.com, you can find a list of compatible tuners. I know that - but the one that comes with Nero is listed there. What I want to know is who has had good luck with a dual tuner analog card with liquidTV. The nero site also says that any card with a std driver interface will work. What I don't like about the USB tuner: - It missed a channel change recently on analog cable. - I've had to power cycle the whole machine to get it to work when it get confused. - It is fragile being an external USB device. I would like either a PCI or PCIe card with two analog tuners. |

OK - so I found a really good deal on an ATI TVWonder 650 PCIE - I'll see how it goes.
Right now all I know is that it works. |
