I recently acquired the Full package of Nero8 and wanted to know which of it's programmes/utilities allows me to convert audio files from one to another e.g. WMA to mp3 ....

or alternatively any other advice on the matter.

Hi asmar10,

Start the Nero StartSmart and select the tab: Create and Edit -> Convert Audio Files. Here you will be able to convert your audio files. You can also use Wave Editor. Just open Wave Editor, insert your audio file and select "File" > "Save As". You will now be able to choose the output format.

Hi, thanks for the answer it worked great. Incidentally, for some reason StartSmart doesnt let you convert WMA -> mp3 due to 'Microsoft licensing' but if you load the WMA in Wave editor first then you can infact save as mp3. Odd ...
