I have Nero 9. When I try to burn DVD form .wmv file I get the message that I need an extra Nero-product. This product will activate advanced audio- and/or videotechnologies in my current nero-version. Chose Buy Now to see your options.

But when I do so then I get te home side of Nero and don't know what I need.

Who can help me?

Could it be that your files have DTS audio? What happens if you ignore the message? Can you still add the files?

Thank you for your answer. It was a big help for me!

The file has Dolby Digital (AC-3) 2.0

I can import the file and then I get the message. Options are Buy Now or Close. As you asked I have chosen this time for Close. And then Nero Vision continues without problems and writes the file to DVD.

So far so good, but the quality is very bad. The resolution of the input file is 1920x1040 and the output file is 720x576.

But maybe I have schosen the wrong parameters. It is my first experience with Nero Vision. I try further on.

Hi Ocin17,

Im glad that it worked!

This is because you are creating a DVD Video. When creating a DVD Video the the target file will always be MPEG-2 as the DVD Video disc format uses the MPEG-2 video codec for compressing video files.
