nerovision 5 quits in middle of transcode

doesnt matter what i have tried. from exporting to mp4 conversion. when i try to use nerovision to convert my avi files to dvd, it stops itself without warning or pop ups. just quits. the only error i am finding is a richmedia player handler error

i never had this happen when i used to have nero7

i bought a new hard drive so i reinstalled windows and then nero8. not even an upgrade so that removes any possibility of upgrade conflict.

i opened case with tech support and they are giving me the run around. Even microsoft acknowledges the possibilty of software coflict between nero8 and vista ultimate due to the Windows media player rich preview handler.

I have tried all kinds of methods including nero express to correct any divx compression errors that may exist with no sucess.

No windows error pop ups . Nero vision just shuts itself off no warning nothing.

i was burning to hard drive so there was no need for dvd info.

recode, express all work.. nerovision 5 is the only thorn
