Did anyone ever find a solution to this issue? I'm having the same problem. I'm trying to configure the Backup email notification with my gmail account but it keeps failing. Any suggestions?

In the server name, are you all using a required SMTP server?

Yes, I'm using gmail's required SMTP server smtp.gmail.com but it keeps saying that the authentication failed. I have already verified that I'm using the correct using and password. I have the same settings on another program and it works fine; it keeps failing with Nero's BackItUp software.
Thanks! |
