For some reason or another, my tv plays mp4s and avi, but sometimes there will be some that wont work. Can anyone tell me how i change the format of files in nero?

Such as

Video ts files to mp4

Video TS Files to avi

Avi to mp4

Mp4 to avi

Video TS Files to DVD (Burn)

Mp4 to DVD (Burn)

Avi to DVD (Burn)

Are there any tutorial videos to assist in this?

A couple of ways to convert them.

You can import them into Recode and select the format you want.

You can import them into Nero Video and Export them to the format you want.

We've covered how to create a DVD-Video from Video_TS in your other thread. DVD-Video is mpeg-2 or mpeg-1.

If you just want to burn the mp4 or .avi to disc, you can burn a data disc with Nero Express, Burning Rom or Windows. Not all players will play a data disc.

@ wither

Thanks for all your help, in this thread and others. If it wasn't for you this software would have gathered cobwebs on the harddrive due to my lack of patience. You are certainly a asset to nero and the forum. I do appreciate you taking the time to help, you seem to be one of the few who do.

If there's no need to edit the input files, I would suggest to use Nero Recode, which is much more easy to handle when it comes to transcoding files to another format. For creating DVDs use Nero Video like wither said before.
