Hey all, Nero Cover Designer is without a doubt an amazing piece of software, however I was just wondering if anyone could help in regards to when it comes to the templates on designing CD covers?
When you look at the covers, for example if you're doing a slimline cover or a standard cover it looks like it prints the front & the back on separate sections (the front & back of (say a slip case in which the disc goes in) or the part that would be slid into the case for the front cover), but with it being separate this then means that instead of folding the cover to create an envelope type thing, you end up with two separate square card pieces because the gap is pretty wide between the front picture & back picture of the front insert (If you get what I mean). Does anybody know if theirs a template out there where you can design the front cover & the back of the cover so that it just folds to create the inlay instead of it being two separate pieces of cards? Thanks in advance & ten points will be given to the best answer here, I really do appreciate this! I'll try give some examples with images : For a maxi single : (This will be the way fit on one piece of A4 paper) ![]() For a regular CD jewel case cover : ![]() This is basically what is needed for the MAXI single (I'm sure you get the jist with the regular one also), this template also has the slits where the case goes too, I'd like this in Nero. ![]() Does anyone kindly have some templates I could have so that I can do these, or how do you create them so they are right? Thank you so much to all who can kindly help here. This post has been edited by MichaelJacksonLegacy: Jul 21 2012, 07:18 PM |

As far as I can tell, you can't create an inlay for a CD jewel case that is one piece of paper containing both the front and rear data.
You could possibly create a custom DVD inlay and resize it to fit in a CD case. Barring anyone else jumping in here, you could ask tech support. |
