Hello,
I have exported Vision audio tracks to Wave Editor for editing, but I how do I put them back into Vision? Will the audio and video still be in sync once I do?
Also, the both the Intro Video and Main Video background audio is too loud. I used "Edit Background Audio" to lower the Main Video volume 40%, clicked OK, but after rendering the volume is back up to full. The Intro Video audio volume cannot be changed, can it?
I even went to the original "Predefined audio" source files for the intro and main video audio, decreased the volume by -8dB in Wave Editor, used that for "Custom" Background Audio, but got the same result. I can set the volume just the way I want it, but it is not the same after burning or rendering.
I am using the "Wedding" Animated 2D template in Nero 9.4.44.0b
Thank you,
Eric

Hi ericholtz- haven't seen you for a while. Hope you're having a good summer.

You would just import the file (s) you edited in WE onto Audio Track 1.

If you right click on the video on the timeline and select Properties, you can adjust the audio level. This will probably affect the audio level on the menu.

Hi wither, it's HOT here in the U.S. Midwest.
I imported the edited audio from Wave Editor back into Vision through My Media Files, but the original Vision audio is still there - I have the edited audio overlapping the original audio.
How do I remove the original audio before importing the edited audio? It is very important that the audio is perfectly in sync with the video since this is a wedding for a client.
Also, can I "save as" different versions of the same project? I want to save the exact project, but with different menu and chapter texts for different family members.
Thank you.

Don't know about Nero 9, but the way I do it in Nero 11 Video is right-click the file on the timeline, choose "Unlink Video and Audio" and then delete the audio track (NOT "Delete and Close Gap,", but just "Delete."). Then carefully drag the edited audio track onto the empty space. When you get it close it will kinda' "click" into place. Then select both the video and audio tracks, right-click the selection and then choose "Link Video and Audio." Like I said, don't know about Nero 9.

Thank you for the reply CBilly. There is no "Unlink Video and Audio" option on the Timeline in Nero 9. Also, no matter what level I set the Intro Video or Main Menu audio using "Edit Background Audio", it always comes out as 100% after rendering. I hope I'm not asking for the moon, I simply want level audio throughout the project.

Well, in that case I recall a post by wither a while back where he advised the poster to lower the volume and then import the edited audio file to the Music track right below the Audio 1 track. I have a copy of Nero 10 on my system, and I tried that, lowering the volume by -100 and importing the edited audio file to the "Narration" track or the "Music" track and it worked equally well on either track. Actually you can lower the volume a lot more than that, as much as -900 to make sure none of the original sound is heard. Hope this will work with 9.

Wish I could help with the Menus but I don't use 'em.

P.S.: It's hot here in the U.S. southeast too!

Use the method I told you and set the volume to "0".

You can save your various projects as .nvc using different names.
