 Static text with shadows and Font set crashes |

1. Tried to use the static text feature but I cannot get rid of the shadows Iin Express mode). Any hint?
2. When trying to change font (from Arial) - clicking the list arrow crashes program. Anyone experienced that? Have updated Nero 11 without success. Rgrds Göran L |

Try clicking on the box containing the name of the fonts and waiting a few seconds before clicking on the arrow. I've had the same problem and think that's how I got it to work.

Regarding static text there are only properties for "shadows" in the Advanced mode. Only below bolded properties are available in Express mode. So I have to stay with the Advanced mode to fully use the property feature. However the crash problem exists in both modes.
Unfortunately the program crashes as soon as I click over font. Only the lower part (type, size, color) works in Express mode. |

Dear FarmerSmurfFFA,
What kind of information do I need to send about the font selection crash? I run Windows 7 with the Nero 11 and have tried to re-install and searched for updates. It is very simple to reproduce (at least in my PC HP Pavilion dv6). Open up the text setting dialog box and click somwhere over the indicated text font ((e g Arial) or try to click on the arrow. The program shuts down and ask if I want to save the project. Rgds |

Hi all,
Very strange but suddenly the font selection works after have done a small test to change in Advanced editing. And then start a simple project in Express. Still I cannot remove the shadows in texts :-( Thanks to all. Rgrds |

I assume you put the effect on video track 2.
If you looked at the attached, you can set the shadow opacity. Set the opacity to "0".
