You can do that in Nero Video.

If you don't need to do a lot of editing and add effects, transitions, etc., then select Video-CD when you open Nero Video.

You can get to the editing screen if you start out in Video CD but, if you are planning to do editing and add the those things I mentioned, you should start out in Make Movie or Slide Show and select Advanced Editing. When done, select Next and then select Video CD and add a menu, if you desire, and burn.

That's a quick run down. If you have any questions about what I said, just fire away. I assume a DVD player can play a video cd. I have no experience with that.

Thanks alot, unfortunately it still aint working. Do you know if I need a different format for the videos before i burn them? I did what you suggested, opened video CD, dragged my video there and burnt it, my DVD player is still trying to read it for half an hour now...one thing though, before it started burning, it mentioned that my video had more of NTSC than Pal, so i ignored this, maybe it played a role..I am in Austria, and i read somewhere for erope PAL is recommended...am going crazy, 2 days now...grrrrrrr

I don't think it matters whether you select NTSC or PAL because most players will play both.

Does the cd play on your computer? According to Wikipedia, VCDs will play in most DVD players but that's the extent of my knowledge.

I have no experience with Video-CD, so I can't help you and I think that wither is driving you in the right direction, but, just out of curiosity, why don't you use DVDs?

Maybe you started your project from "create video-cd" so it think to have just 700 Mb of space.
