Just bought Platinum at retail. I read the sticky about the problem with Flash. There are no 'trials' of Platinum available though so I'm not sure how to get the updated installer.
Maybe it's simpler just to install the 32-bit Adobe first? Add/remove currently shows I have Adobe Flash "10 ActiveX" and "11 Plugin 64-bit". |

Download and install the v11 trial version. Insert your purchased serial number during the installation. Check for updates when it's finished.
Note that Adobe Flash Player 11 is included in the trial version and will be installed. |
