I just got upgraded to Windows 7 Enterprise and I am trying to get everything reinstalled on my new OS image.
When I try and install Nero 10 I get to the installation of the Reboot Verification, I tell it to NOT install the ASK toolbar, my system reboots but then the Nero installation fails because it says that there is another installation in progress when none is in progress. I have tried to get past this issue a number of times, but to no avail. Any ideas would be appreciated. |

Doesn't sound like fun.
Check in Task Manager\Applications, Services, Processes and disable anthing Nero, if present. Do you have anti-virus disabled during the installation? |

I don't have rights to disable Symantec Endpoint Protection. However, it has not caused problems in the past when I installed Nero.

I guess you're a client on some kind of network- is that why you can't temporily disable it? Maybe you could explain.
Did you find anything in task manager? Is it possible to do a system restore back to before you tried to install Nero? I got that message when I was doing something with another program a few weeks ago but can't remember how I got around it. |
