Hi there...
I'm hoping someone out there with more knowledge than me can help...!

I have a bunch of home movies recorded on a Camcorder on to a mini DVD disc. The files I get off this are Video_ts and I don't seem to be able to burn them to DVD using Nero. I keep getting an error message at the final stage saying it is unable to transcode. (See attached)
Does anyone have any advice how I can resolve this...? The Nero version I'm using is older - 2006. I don't know if this is a problem. It's worked fine when I've burnt .avi files etc.

What is your operating system?

It seems you have Cyberlink installed? If so, either uninstall it (or disable it in Task Manager, Processes and Services) and try another burn.

Finally, go to the drive manufacturer's website and check for the latest driver (firmware) updates and download/install if you don't already have them installed.

i think there is a problem with you file.

Take a look at the error message in your log file:

[16:21:30] VCDUI Unable to prepare data for recording: Transcoding of videos failed (internal error 1004).

Nero Vision makes transcoding and burning of TS files possible.
Please try to produce the TS file again. Programs such as "TS Remux" can be of use for this task.
