I am enjoying Nero's ver 7 as I created a DVD slideshow with my audio tracks of my choosing. Question: what specific version of NERO provides the same functions to burn tracks to your hard drive & record fm old cassette tapes to a CD? Musicmatch was superior in that regard then came Yahoo when it took over Musicmatch. Whatever happened to them both? Is Yahoo Musicmatch still a functioning software because Musicmatch Jukebox is no longer. Thankyou

Hi M79vest18,
For recording old Cassette Tapes or LP's, I would recommend that you use the Nero SoundTrax program. Nero WAV editor can also accomplish this, but Nero SoundTrax was specifically designed for this purpose and has some extra features such as detecting silence between soungs on the Cassette/LP and automatically Splitting the songs up into individual audio files, among other features. Use the below link and choose the tutorial on 'Converting Tape or LP to CD'. http://www.nero.com/eng/support-nero7-tutorials-audio.html To extract audio from an Audio CD and save to your Hard Drive as an MP3, WAV, AIF, etc audio file, you should use Nero Burning ROM and the 'Save Track' features located under Extras. Regards, Craig |
