Hello,
I installed Nero MediaHome on my new DVD player last night and I LOVE this! It plays my files without a hitch. I'd like it to play to my android, but the option for "allow access" to other devices is grayed out. It sees my android but will not let me click to allow access. Help, how can I make this option available?

Thank you very much! :)

Oops never mind, I just realized that even though it's grayed out, it's also checkmarked.

I CAN play back and forth between androids. BUT my issue is that the subtitles stream great from PC to my BD670 player, but my android does not get the subtitles for some reason. Am using Diceplayer.

I don't know what kind of Androids you have. Maybe this will help-

Thanks, Wither. :)

Well, I found that I can get the srt subtitle to play if I go into the ps3 mediaserver folder. But streaming to android is very slow for some reason. It seems to be faster going from PC to DVD player using the Nero.

Are you streaming to your DVD player wirelessly? What about the android? Obviously there's a bottleneck somewhere.

Yes, I'm streaming to both the DVD player and my android wirelessly. As for the bottleneck, could be, I don't kow. I thought it might be transcoding issues, or maybe the android isn't fast enough.
The stream to the DVD player is flawless and includes subtitles. The stream to the android stutters and won't include subtitles.

When I referred to a bottleneck, I suspected it was in the Android. Technically, I don't know how the signal is received and processed but I would guess that the Android has to buffer the signal in memory before it is played. To me, that would be the bottleneck since the video is stuttering. Do you have Adobe Flash Player 11.1 installed on your Android? It could be beneficial.
