Want to produce HD DVD and can import camera unedited .mov files directly to Nero Vision and edit in Nero Vision and burn to high quality DVD at the same 1080P HD format as recorded. If I edit in another program and render again as h.264 .mov 1080p video, when imports to Nero Vision it down grades from the 1080P to about 480. This is even though I set the parameters to wide screen 1080 etc in the project parameters before importing. Checking the imported files, they are truly 1080 HD files.
All my QuickTime codecs are up to date. The problem with the ACC audio codec also has not been resolved, however, found if you render in LPCM audio, it will import the audio from h.264 .mov files |

You're talking about DVD all the time... I hope you didn't start a DVD-Video project in Nero Vision! Then it would be totally normal, that Vision reduces the resolution of your full HD file. If you want to get a DVD with 1920x1080 resolution you'll have to create an AVCHD-project.
I don't know what AAC-problem you mean, neither HD-DVD format, nor bluray, AVCHD and DVD-Video support that codec due to their specifications. Therefore you'll have to encode the AAC-track of your mov-file either to LPCM or Dolby Digital (AC-3). |

Just to expand a little on what Mister_M said, DVD-Video is limited to 720x.... by its specification.
Also, the AVCHD-DVD will only be playable in a blu-ray player. |

Hi
If you burn the video to your DVD Video, the final video will be encoded into MPEG-2 format, with a standard DVD resolution 720x480 or 720x576 . If your source video has higher quality and resolution, it is possible that there is a quality loss after your encode the video to the DVD. You can create the AVCHD DVD , but AVCHD DVDs cannot be played back on regular DVD players. chat Regarding the Audio codec issue, you are welcome to contact our technical support at techsupport@nero.com , you can also get in touch via the online chat support first. http://www.nero.com/eng/support-contact.html Best regarards, GreedySmurfTJ |
