I have some MP4 files (video + audio). When I play them directly the audio is great. But when I try to make an audio disk (mixed or not) the audio is horrible. It is choppy and unusable. If doesn't matter if try to normalize the audio or not. I bring up Nero 10 and choose audio disk. I drag the MP4 file to the left and drop it. You can try it before you burn by clicking on the song on the left and choose the "Indexes/Limits/Slit" tab. When I hit play the audio is all choppy and terrible sounding. What might I be doing wrong? It sounds so good as an MP4.
Thanks for any help! |

Hi Wambamalama,
This problem has several causes, please contact TechSupport directly by sending an email to techsupport@nero.com . Alternatively, you can also get in touch via the online chat first. http://www.nero.com/eng/support-contact.html Best regards, BakerSmurfRX |

Thanks BakerSmurfRX! I found another faster way though:
I converted the MP4's to Wave files using Freac (Free Audio Converter) and then Nero 10 burned the wave files to audio disk perfectly. It's a shame Nero can't convert them by itself, but it only took a few seconds to convert them using Freac. I will just use Freac from now on. Even if tech support fixed the one problem I would always wonder what else Nero was converting wrong. This way I know it is converted correctly. I will just use Nero as a burner only software, which it does pretty well. |

Just used Burning ROM, choosed "Audio CD" directly in the "New Compilation" window or "Encode files" in the "Extras" menu. Both worked with clear and crisp output sound quality. |
