 No seeing my drives |

Hi all im trying to use rescue agent when i put a cd/dvd in and click on the drop down arrow to pick my drive there is none it just says select one whats going on . B)

Do you have administrator rights? If you do not have admin rights, you cannot select drives in Nero RescueAgent.

i guess i would as using vista ultimate and its only my account on it and in user account its got administrator under my name.

Have you already contacted the Nero techsupport about this problem? I would send them a screenshot showing the Nero RescueAgent with the disabled drop down menu and a NeroSupport.cab which you can creat with the program "GetSupportFiles". This program can be downloaded here: http://www.nero.com/eng/downloads-infotools.html

Done that and that just got back to me saying they cant help me saying my serial number is invalid so yea any ideas.

What drive are you using? Is it a DVD-ROM drive or a DVD Recorder? Can you provide a screenshot of the dropdown from Nero Rescue agent so that we can see what it's detecting on your system? I've tried CD's and DVD's and I have no trouble using Rescue agent with the devices. I must admit I have not tested with a DVD-Rom drive, but that should not make a difference. Regards, Craig |
