Just purchased Nero 11. had trouble with installation. had installed multiple trial versions (4, 7, 11), so I uninstalled everything and started over. I still have the same problem. I want to put together video clips and synch them to music, just as I did many times with Nero 9, but it seems as though project playback is disabled. I really don't understand what the problem is. There's a play button that appears to be for the whole project but it does nothing. If I double click on a clip, I can play the entire file, but it won't start and stop at the trim points. Very frustrated. I can't put together a video project blindly and can't imagine this is correct. I was pretty satisfied with the videos I created with Nero 9. My computer died recently and had to be replaced. I'm just trying to replace Nero 9. Help!!!!

It's complicated because I don't know what you did to the video.
Are you working in the Editing screen or the Contents screen? Are any of your videos or music commercial, i.e., could they be protected? V10 and v11 are better at detecting protection than v9. |

Here is the video of the problem
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nm-Wx4FCP4k...eature=youtu.be I still have this problem after contact help at NERO support, there is nothing i can do to make it play, and on my fresh install of windows 7 and nero updated, it wont play anymore...... very frustrating to use allot money to make video, but it wont work and none of the ideas people from nero come with help anything.... this play button wont start, no matter what format...even the video clip nero come with, it wont play it, in editing where u put text, and so on "nero video" and when i did buy it, it was working great, but after an update, its screw anything up and still do it seems :-/ garbage software and the fun is, where i put the video down the video 1, in advance and then i can double click it and it work, i think thats in the trim software....but there its works.....but no so useful for me here a side note is, when first install i did see HD video something install, but in the updates those things was not updated....not sure if that has anything to do with it really weird. PS and this is home made videos, no protect needed....what next next?? we need finger prints before we can make a video?? a chip??? PS im uploading a video, where u can see what i mean This post has been edited by WilderDK: Jun 12 2012, 02:46 PM |

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. but its good that nero has become a police agenda and a control organ, obey sheeps :D This post has been edited by WilderDK: Jun 12 2012, 02:37 PM |

Why are you piggy backing on an old thread? You posted your problem within another more recent thread in the Nero Vision subforum- http://forum.my.nero.com/index.php?showtop...20&start=20
In fact, I asked a couple of minor questions there but didn't get a response. You should continue the discussion in that thread. |

I did look at your video beforehand and it's a visual description of the same problem you presented in the other thread and I wanted to continue it there since there's discussion about what others have tried and I had asked you a few question there. I don't want to reinvent the wheel. I agree that I should have asked Rubelena to post in the other thread. Could have been I was on my second double martini. :)
