I use NERO VIDEO to make DVDs of Japanese shows with English subtitles. My problem is that the TV picture from the fiinshed DVD appears to be zoomed in, leaving the subs just above the bottom of the screen. Any of the longer lines of text were cut off at each side.
It looks like I have lost about 4" of the picture all around each side. Anyone any ideas? Thanks |

What is the format and resolution of the files?
Did you start out in Make Movie or DVD DVD-Video? If you started out in Make Movie, what selection did you make at the opening screen? Did you change any of the recording format options? What do they look like in Preview before you burn them? For information, it would have been best if you posted in the Nero Vision subforum (which includes Nero Video). |

It looks like I have lost about 4" of the picture all around each side. I don't know why, but : 1) if you play the DVD on your PC, then you can see the whole picture. 2) if you play the DVD on your television set you loose some of the picture all around. I found a workaround. In "Editing Video" window chechmark the "Safe Area", and you can know how much you loose of your video, and then resize it to mach the Safe Area (that I marked in red). May be someone else can explain why. Regards Adriano |
