You can burn to Hard disk folder (choose this option in "Burning Option" window), and then copy the Video_ts folder onto memery stick using Window Explorer.

I believe you'll find the file here- C:\Users\"user name"\AppData\Local\Nero\Nero 11\Nero Vision\Rendered Files in Vista and Win 7 (substitute whichever version of Nero you're using for Nero 11). In XP, it would be somewhere in C:\Documents and Settings.

When you said it didn't record to your memory stick, do you mean no Video_TS folder was burned? I'm assuming you're burning a DVD-Video. Did the job finish? How much RAM do you have?

If you go here (see above about locations)- C:\Users\"user name"\AppData\Roaming\Nero\Nero 11\Nero Vision, find the nerovisionlog.txt file. Use the browse and Upload feature in the forum to post the log.

Yes, wither is right. This is the default folder until you change it.

When you click on the option "Write to Hard Disk Folder" you have the opportunity of choosing another output directory, so you don't need to look for an hidden folder (appdata)

Interesting. On my Vista and Win 7 machines, app data isn't hidden.

wither & adrianob2, Surely all this 'C:\Users\"user name"\AppData\Local\Nero\Nero 11\Nero Vision\Rendered Files'.

Depends on several things, to do with 'CUSTOMISING the OS and whether the program has been CUSTOMISED, as stated.

Secondly, does a USER just copy the Destination Folder, or its contents, to the Memory Stick, which effectively be DATA.

adrianob2

I do not note any reference to a video files in the inital input, admitting he is using Nero Vision. The quote was a SLIDE show via Nero Vision, surely this will produce a VTS_ files.

GS0941

If you are importing the video to Nero Vision you can change the destination folder on the OPENING SCREEN by selecting 'MORE', then 'CONFIGURE, etc.

Silly question, if there are .jpeg images, why not just use the OS to copy the images to the Memory Stick.

I assume that you intend to use this to display them on some type of Player. Would this not give you the option to display them as a Slide Show

I have \appdata hidden as standard for each user in my Pc. I need to modify this in "Folder Option", or to create a link to the folder in my Desktop.

This is true for Vista Home and Win7 Home Premium.
