I have a native instruments komplete ultimate hard drive with 240 gb of content on it. I would like to back that up to a nas drive as an .iso image not a nero type iso. I have googled and cannot find anything that tells me how to do this unless its for earlier versions or just of a cd whereas I want to create an image of the hard drive.
Can I do this in nero 11? I have a registered copy so hopefully no restrictions on anything. The NI hardrive I prefer to back up otherwise I lose loads of plug ins in the event of hard drive failure and I need to be confident that the resultant image is standard so that I can re install the programs should the NI hard drive fail. regards in advance ps apologies for my name here (although it means drawers in spanish and not the other, not sure why its used that name) This post has been edited by cajones: Jul 22 2012, 09:02 AM |

The name thing is funny. :)
Nero only allow the selection of ISO images for certain types of compilations. I'm not familiar with exactly which ones these are but I think a data disc is one of them. I think you should send an e-mail to tech support on this one. Normally, one would use Backitup. |

Hi cajones,
With Nero BackItUp program, you can backup your files to NAS drive, but we only have normal file back and drive backup, both backup will only save the files in Nero BackUp .nba or .nda or the original format without compressed. If you want to backup files in iso file, you can use Nero Backup to do a file backup without compressed, But first you should compress all the files to iso file yourself manually or with Nero Burning ROM. If you are any further inquiries or problem, please write email to us here: techsupport@nero.com. Best Regards, TailorSmurfNY |
