Hi
If I use Nero 11 Platinum recode to convert an MKV file to either a DVD or BR the end resuldt is always that the Audio is 30 seconds behind the video. If I use Nero Version 10 This does not happen and the end result is always perfect. Any Ideas Please? |

MKV is a container format, can be a codec issue (licensing). Due to that, may be, the codec is no longer supported in Nero 11.
You should try once importing the files into NeroVideo. If you have the same problem there, the only possibility (to avoid wasting time) is from my view, going back to Nero 10. This post has been edited by hg-dude: Jan 27 2012, 01:08 PM |

Although going back to v10 may be a workaround, the problem should be presented to tech support by e-mail if it can't be resolved here.
How do you use v11 Recode to get a DVD or Blu-ray? That function is no longer there. I think we need more details. |

I had the same issue with the audio being about 20-30 seconds off. I spent several hours and upgraded from Essential to Platinum to see if that would help which it didn't and gave up. I then played a blu-ray using Kwik Media to verify I now had DTS support since upgrading to Platinum. I also wanted to see if that had audio playback issues and the disc played fine. Afterwards the audio was now in sync and no longer off when I converted media files. I made no other changes other than playing a blu-ray. You may be referring to using Nero Video to convert mkv to either blu-ray or DVD vs recode. When I've experimented converting a large 30GB+ M2TS file to a 4GB DVD using Nero Video I notice slight motion jitters likely from dropped frames but the audio remains in sync (since I resolved my sync issue).
